    A brief statement issued by the center said the earthquake occurred at 11:09:37 pm local time at the epicenter (16:09:37 GMT).

    The epicenter is 535 km west-south-west of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and 1,410 km northwest of Jakarta, Indonesia, according to the statement. Enditem
