In the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21-August 21), $74.6m of minerals was exported, showing 12.8% increase in comparison with the corresponding period last year.
The exported volume was consisted of mineral powders, coal and coke, calcium carbonate, mineral sulfur, unprocessed stones and bentonite. Minerals accounted for 3.5 percent of the total industrial exports in the said period.
