Reporting the public relations of Geological Survey of Iran, Eng.Naser Abedian, exploration deputy of GSI in an interview with reporter of the organization stated: "the geochemical and economic geology maps on scale of 1:25,000 are in progress for the provinces of West & East Azarbayjan , Markazi, Semnan, Kerman and Yazd for the first time by GSI to recognize mineral prospect areas and valuable deposits".
"Assigning mineral prospect areas has been accomplished by integration of 5 data layers last years for the first time and almost according to international standards as it can be considerable scientific and technical field in the country".
He described that detailed exploration would be implemented moreover public exploration in prospect areas that exploration can continue.
Then, Abedian added that more than 14 billion rials has been considered in 2005 to prepare geochemical maps".
