Almost 20 geological maps on scale of 1:100000 have been completed in management center of Geological Survey of North East. The most significant activities of the center in 2004 are preparing digital maps of north east and also preparing different maps of exploration projects and foundation of digital photogrammetry system .
This center activates in field of mineral exploration and also seismic zonation project of Mashhad City, signing agreement with Management & Planning Organization of Khorasan Razavi Province and House & Urbanism Organization.
The activities of management center of the Geological Survey of North East Region has developed in 2004 with 17 reports of different stages of projects exploration of South Khorasan Province and persisting Earth Science museum and surveying two geochemical sheets.
