Economical Geology and telemetry studies in 1:100,000 sheet Haji Abad (Esphandaghe - Dolatabad zone)

sheet of 1:100,000 Haji Abad is in the path of Tehran - Bandar Abbas highway and part of quadrate 1:250,000 of Haji Abad. In fact sheet 1:100,000 of Haji Abad is located in south west of Haji Abad quadrangle in south of Baghat sheet. Haji-Abad township is located approximately on center of sheet.
sheet of 1:100,000 Haji Abad is in the path of Tehran - Bandar Abbas highway and part of quadrate 1:250,000 of Haji Abad. In fact sheet 1:100,000 of Haji Abad is located in south west of Haji Abad quadrangle in south of Baghat sheet. Haji-Abad township is located approximately on center of sheet. This sheet is composed of four topographic sheets with a scale of 1:50,000 in names of Haji Abad, Dehestan – e- Bala, Gahkom and Tarom. There is no city except to Haji Abad in this sheet. From Administrative divisions in the country aspect, this district is considered as a part of the Hormozgan province.
Important villages of this sheet are Tazrej, Baynuj, Sarchahan and Gahkom. The path of global railway of Bafgh - Bandar Abbas in North – South trend, while passing through the middle of the sheet, has station in west of Tazrej Station.
Northern Heights of this sheet is located at the top of Zagros thrust fault zone and is a part of Sanandaj - Sirjan zone which has been created due to Laramyde compressional phase. From The most important of these heights can be implied to Rozdar Mountains, Siah Mountain, Tal Anjir, Kuh Sorkh and Kuh Gaz. The southern mountains of sheet and Shahin Kuh, Kam bar Aftab, Mureh Kalat, Sierro and ... are all in exposures of the Zagros that their formation is attributed to compressional phase from middle of Miocene. Besides This collection, several salt dome with unique morphology, are quite distinct frpm other units. Therefore, the study area in terms of structural - stratigraphy is located in two zones of Sanandaj - Sirjan and Zagros. Boundary between these zones, is Zagros thrust fault. Narrow region of colored mélange along this fault has extension. In this viewpoint, exploratory data are interconnected to structural units of zones which were listed.
Especially the multi-unit major minerals that have also occupied large parts of the district have outcrops inn this sheet. Oldest out crop unit in this zone exposures of Hormoz series which are as salt domes and have cut younger units and are irregular everywhere and with no regular layering. This unit is a proper place to explore elements such as potash, Bor and other evaporite minerals.
Carbonate structural units of Zagros such as Sarvak, Gurpi, Sachvn, Razak and ... have good place for following of materials such as iron and evaporate materials such as Celestine, plaster, and ... .
in oldest outcrop of Sanandaj - Sirjan lithologic units that are late Jurassic – early Cretaceous sedimentary – volcanic units, Looking for metallic materials such as copper, iron ... and among silica and altered veins after valuable element of gold, exploration operations were identified.
In colored mélange unit that is a complex of volcanic intermediate-mafic, radiolarite, chert, shale and limestone is formed. Identification for access to minerals such as gold, copper and... was done. The main minerals identified in Haji Abad sheet can be as follows:
in Northern slopes of Rozdar Mount, tangled mix collection of colored mélange rocks have outcrops which have Silica thin to thick layers of silica streak. highly Limonitic volcanic rocks have been seen in the region. According to preliminary results from laboratory, level of gold element in the region has been measured before as much as 2 ppm measurements that gathered samples were tested several times. In some cases, answer of analysis confirms existence of the gold element provides. To continue exploration operations, this area is suggested.
in Gis area and also South of Salt dome of Srchahan, the outcrops of iron was found in carbonate units which do not have economic value but are a reason for formation of this mineral in carbonate units within this district, therefore, with accurate reconnaissance operations posibility to achieve proper storage is. Meanwhile veins and thin veins of iron in volcanic JK (like the Godar river - Vakil Abad road, North of upper Dehestan and …) has been observed too.
Outcrops are as more or less small and with little storage, they can be seen as mainly surface combination in many regions of this sheet, especially in the late Jurassic -early Cretaceous volcanic units and the most important of these locations are:

• southern range of Rome Kuh
• Degh Padeh - Vakil Abad Road
• Baynuj - Gis
• Duieh canyon
• Eastern domain of Godar river
• West Hyderabad Mount.
• River of Upper Dehestan Village
• Bardinu Qala Tuieh
• Shure river Heights
in West of Abgarm village and near to dam (dam construction has been halted) layer with a thickness of approximately 5 meters and interesting longitudinal development from plaster has very good purity. This layer with a suitable extraction pattern and with low cost can be extracted economically and takes to the consumption market.
in Srchahan salt dome, evaporating elements have been identified which among that the amount of potash element in manually salt samples, taken from this salt dome, is about 0.70 percent that has brought many hopes to achieve proper storage of this mineral. The amount of Bor elements in the sample is about up to 0.4 percent. With more precise exploration operation to achieve a layer of solid potash in salt dome of Sarchahan is very likely.
