کانسار آنومالی شمالی(شمال بافق) کانسار ماگمایی یا متاسوماتیک

   Northern Iron Anomaly, based on metallogenic province location and genetic relationship such as geochemical and mineralogical evidences is part of bafq iron zone. Fe- mineralization occurred in acidic igneous rocks of the Precambrian age, in two phases. The first phase of mineralization is mainly composed of amphibole-magnetite with high grade and low tonnage, while the second phase is albite-magnetite with low grade and high tonnage . Northern Anomaly has been affected by normal faults and is divided to eastern, central and western blocks. It can be classified as a low grade iron ore (۲۷%) with low sulphure(.۰۴%) and phosphorous (.۱۷%). Exploration data indicate that it contains ۲۵۰ Mt ore at C۲ category. Northern Anomaly deposit has been considered as a metasomatic or magmatic deposit . In this paper it has been attemped to investigate Northern Anomaly genesis based on new data from recent drilling program .
