توسعه خمهای هم شتاب زلزله برای سنگ کف تهران با رهیافت احتمالی

Abstract

Based on the importance of the Tehran capital city, in view points of the political, economical, and social aspects, the study on the probable seismic hazard and risks is a priority. The seismotectonic characteristics of the region are studied, and based on the determination of the seismic source zones and their related parameters, a probabilistic seismic hazard analysis is performed for the greater quadrangle of Tehran. The preliminary obtained results for the estimation of the mean values of accelerations, indicate the dominance of the north Tehran fault and Mosha fault in the probable hazard levels of the region.
