Argonaut Resources has reported further zinc-copper intersections from a 13-hole program completed at its Kroombit project, located west of Gladstone in Central Queensland.According to Argonaut, the latest preliminary results from the company’s confirmatory drilling program included 13m at 5.97% zinc and 14m at 6.25% zinc from surface in separate drill holes. The new results follow preliminary, incomplete zinc-copper intercepts reported last week from the first drill hole KRRC1 in Argonaut’s current program. This confirmatory drilling program is the first by Argonaut on its Kroombit project and, according to the company, is designed to prove up the presence of zinc and copper mineralisation at the project. So far a total of 13 reverse circulation holes have been drilled at Kroombit, as part of the drill program. Highlights from these drill holes include 9m at 5.18% Zn from 0m, 13m at 5.97% Zn from 0m, 6m at 1.07% Cu from 32m, and 6m at 1.48% Cu from 18m.
