Direct shipping hematite iron ore intersections from Beebyn

Giralia Resources has reported positive initial drill intersections from its Beebyn-Weld Range iron ore project in Western Australia's emerging Mid West iron ore province.Giralia said it had received approximately 65 percent of the assay results from an initial reverse circulation drilling program undertaken at the Beebyn iron project, located on the northeastern Weld Range. The company drilled a total of 17 reverse circulation holes targeting outcropping hematite enriched iron ore zones, with several planned holes yet to be completed, prior to planned initial resource estimation. Previous rock chip traverse sampling over the area by Giralia returned significant iron assay results, including a traverse 23m long grading 62.1 percent Fe. Significant intersections from assay results received from the first drill program included 8m @ 59.1% Fe from 6m, 36m @ 60.8% Fe from 62m, and 8m @ 60.8% Fe from 20m.Based on the completed drilling, the targeted hematite rich iron formations are interpreted as steeply west to vertically dipping. Giralia said drilling had shown the thickness of the main hematite zone to average between 25m and 45m. A parallel hematite bearing iron formation 30m south of the main zone is up to 10m wide. The company reported that assay results from drilling had, in most cases, confirmed the widths and grades from surface sampling and mapping.
