Adamus Resources has identified a further zone of mineralisation below the existing Bokrobo deposit at its Southern Ashanti Gold Project in South West Ghana. The mineralisation was intercepted after extending a planned infill drillhole some 150m deeper than anticipated after visible gold was identified in swarms of narrow quartz veins in a granitic host.Bokrobo currently has a mineral resource estimate of 1.2 mt @ 2.38 g/t Au in the Measured and Indicated category, with a further 540,000 tonnes @ 1.93 g/t Au in Inferred, all located in near-surface zones down to 100m.Adamus CEO Mark Bojanjac said the new mineralization is of a style not previously encountered in the area and has the potential to produce broad zones at depth. This drilling is part of a larger program to test the depth potential of all of the mineralization at both the Anwia and Salman areas. Bokrobo forms part of the Anwia trend of mineralization."This is an excellent start to Adamus' deeper exploration program," Mr. Bojanjac said.Once the current program is complete; Adamus will update the Bokrobo mineral resource estimate. Adamus has completed the immediate multipurpose reverse circulation/diamond drilling at Bokrobo and is planning further work. The company's current drilling operations are focused on the Salman Trend, with initial results to be released shortly.
