Prime confirms anomalies, identifies uranium targets

Prime Minerals has confirmed the presence of substantial uranium anomalie....

Prime Minerals has confirmed the presence of substantial uranium anomalies at its Lake Mason uranium project, in Western Australia, following the evaluation of data from a low-level airborne magnetic/radiometric survey recently flown over the project. The results of this survey confirmed the Bolitho Bore uranium mineralisation is developed over a strike of 8km of the Lake Mason drainage channel, and occupies both the north and south banks of the lake. Radiometric anomalism within the lake also suggests the uranium mineralisation previously drilled (assays up to 600ppm uranium oxide) at Bolitho Bore may extend under the lake to the southern shore, approximately 3.5km in width. Prime has also identified a new target through the survey – Redcastle. This anomaly has a strike of 3km over a major bend in the Lake Mason channel system. The company has also defined several other additional targets within the broader Lake Mason drainage channel. It is expected that Peak will commence ground reconnaissance, ground radiometric surveying and geological mapping in July, with drilling planned to commence next month.
