The agreements of the first round of negotiations between Iran and Russia for the implementation of the joint geological and exploration Plan

Following the presence of representatives of JSC from Rosgelogia Holding of Russia in GSI, the two sides agreed on the development of mineral and geological relations.

The first round of negotiations and consultations of JSC from Rosgelogia Holding of Russia with representatives and senior managers of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), the Deputy of Mines and Mineral Processing of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and Geological Survey of Iran reached a conclusion.

In this regard, both sides achieved an understanding about the selecting and proposing one to two operational blocks for the implementation of projects of geology, geochemistry and economic geology mapping at the scale of 1:50000 by the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia, using the capacity of GSI laboratories to perform technical and specialized services related to the joint project, training and transferring the technology to the Iranian side by the Russian side as well as carrying out the exploration of four Layers of metallic, non-metallic, gemstones and rare earth elements .

Not to mention that after the finalization of the of the service description and budget proposed by the Russian side and approval by the Islamic Republic of Iran, the intended agreements will soon be signed in the form of a cooperation document between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia.
