Webbs Silver drilling highly encouraging

Assay results from recently completed drilling at the Silver Mines Limited Webbs Silver Mine Project have returned high-grade silver values, along with broad lower-grade zones of up to 8m true width. The highest individual assay from this latest drilling program at Webbs was 2,190 g/t silver over a 1m interval from 98m.A total of 3,110m of reverse circulation drilling has now been completed at the Webbs Silver South Prospect. The recent drilling results have extended silver and associated base metal mineralisation at this prospect to over 180m of continuous strike length, with the deepest intersection to date at 100m below surface.Silver Mines Limited has reported that there are good indications of possible extensions of this mineralisation a further 200m to the north, based on results from the Webbs Silver Adit prospect. These results provide a significant upgrade to the potential at the Webbs Silver South prospect as the mineralisation is outcropping and extends to at least 100m vertically.Silver Mines Limited said that these latest drilling results are highly encouraging and provide further support to justify moving this one prospect through to the next stage of evaluation, which is currently underway via a Scoping/Pre-feasibility Study.
